What A Weekend!

I love Steve.

Sometimes he gets it so right, I just don't know what to do with myself.

Like yesterday.  When he met me off the train with a bouquet of flowers and the words many women long to hear...

"Do you fancy a look round Cath Kidston?"

I know.

Anyway, a happy half-hour later and I came out of the shop with this...

Thank you for my present Steve.  I love it.

Today, we took ourselves off for homemade ice-cream and a picnic.

This is where we sat.

Then a storm swept in.

We watched it pass.

On the way home we bumped into Mark and Bo.  Mark has got a scrumdiddlyumptious VW camper van.  I got to ride in the van with Bo.

I've had a really great weekend.  What have you been up to?

  1. Sounds like the perfect weekend to me :-) Sea, sand, Cath Kidston, a beautiful VW Camper and a gorgeous little four legged friend! There's something amazing about watching a storm out at sea too . . . !

  5. looks like fabulous picnics are in the order of the day!

How wonderfully thoughtful of Steve- I have had a similar lurch of the heart when we've been driving through a new town and Ted's said "shall we see where the tip is"?
Not quite CK I know, but I'm afraid I have an absolute addiction to finding treasures amongst "other people's rubbish" from the tip!

Have a lovely week- I hope that all is going well for you

  6. That is so sweet! I love it when my honey surprises me with flowers, too. The other day he bought me some flowers just because and I practically melted on the spot.

Sounds like a great weekend. Very cute blog!

  7. what a fabulous weekend. I would prob keel over and die if my hubby even muttered the words "fancy looking around Cath Kidston" - he is not a fan of any type of shopping lol. Scarlett x
